Welcome to PEEF

We Are The People's Enterprise and Empowerment Forum

WHAT WE DO WHAT WE DO

People’s Enterprise and Empowerment Forum (PEEF) is a dynamic and proactive community based and community controlled organisation, which is striving to improve the economic, educational, health, social and cultural conditions of the community in Pendle. People’s Enterprise and Empowerment Forum (PEEF) was founded in 1982, by concerned individuals from the local community, who were increasingly becoming frustrated and disenchanted with the absence of services to assist and support the local communities at a time of rising unemployment and the introduction of stringent immigration controls. PEEF’s functions have evolved as the circumstances of the community have changed so that it is now a leading organisation in the social, cultural and economic regeneration of the area. PEEF is a registered charity with the Charities Commission.
